Really wanna do your ears a favour? Get Ac/Dc, Back in Black album, and from the first song to the last, without any help from tab or anything, try and learn the songs and solos. Why? Ear training. You'll be able to hear songs for the first time and know what the chords are, you'll hear the difference between major and minor. TAB takes that away from you, it's kinda cheating. Back when I started getting serious, I had my guitar, Van Halen records, and that's it. I forced myself to learn those songs even if it killed me. I'm very happy to say that I can play the majority of that stuff with relative ease now, and even listening to Malmsteen and Gilbert, I can get a grasp of what they're doing, what part of the neck they're on, etc etc.
